• Please estimate the number of bags that you need. If you have more than you need, PLEASE return the extras to Brent Pilson at the Scout Office ASAP (before next Saturday) or drop off the extras at the Leaders Banquet on January 27th.

• Let Susan know if your chartered organization Pack, Troop or Crew are not listed in the map.

• If you need to change your selected area.

• This is a great opportunity for your Webelos 2's den to work with your troop on an outdoor outing.

IMPORTANT AKELA DISTRICT INFORMATION

Akela District Scout Leaders:

There are several very important reasons to attend the Round Table this Thursday (Dec 9th)..

• Popcorn Money will be due. Please arrive a few minutes early if you plan to pay that night. You may also turn in your check at the council office prior to December 9th.

• We will be showing the Youth Protection Training course on DVD.All direct contact leaders are required to have this in 2011 and new units or units who miss their charter and must recharter after the due date will be required to have EVERYONE take YPT, even Charter Partner Representatives and other indirect youth contact leaders. So this RT will be a great opportunity to get many people trained at one time and avoid any problems with future recharters.

• Unit Award forms, Leader Knot Award Forms and Quality Unit Forms will be due December 9th (at the Roundtable meeting). All the Awards submission forms should be available on the Old North State website Forms will also be available at the Roundtable.If you have questions about awards, please ask your 2010 Training and Recognition Chair, Larry Warlick, lwarlick@northstate.net.

• Details on the Distrcit Leadership Banquet will be announced.

• Information on the Scouting For Food Outing.

•  Scouts on Skis at Winterplace

We will also be celebrating the holiday season, so please bring a snack or dish to share! This should be an enjoyable evening for everyone.
